We know how hard it is to become a solicitor, but the new SQE route to qualification gives you a better chance than ever to do so.
Owned and managed by a team of qualified solicitors and barristers with significant and real experience within the legal industry, the SQuarE Route is here to help you flourish and achieve your dream.
How it works
The SQuarE Route will, at no cost, give all students who join:
A mentor throughout
Work experience weeks within out partner firms
A mini pupillage
CV, covering letter and application writing masterclasses
Commercial awareness training
What to expect in an assessment centre
The opportunity to attend mock HR interviews
The opportunity to attend mock assessment centres
The Best Bit
And most importantly, we will give you the chance to become a SQuarE Route trainee. Every student will have the opportunity to attend a formal assessment centre, with a set number of students being offered training contracts guaranteeing 24 months of Qualifying Work Experience.
What this means to you is that, at the same time as receiving vital work experience, mentoring, and extensive employability training, you will be given the opportunity to secure a guaranteed 24 months of Qualifying Work Experience with us. If you are not successful, we nevertheless will work tirelessly to get you placements within organisations to help you qualify.

We will be the data controller of the data provided to, or collected by or for, or processed in connection with our services.

The SQuarE Route collects personal data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our services.

We do not collect any sensitive data about you except when we have your specific consent, or when we have to comply with the law.
We directly collect data from you by calls, emails, appointments and agreements.
Data protection law means that we can only use your data for certain reasons and where we have a legal basis to do so. We only use your data for the provision of our recruitment and placement services. As such we may share relevant data with our clients and with our payroll provider.
Your Data might also be used and retained to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, including immigration and employment law.
We will only keep your Data for as long as is necessary for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required by legal, regulatory and accounting requirements.
You can choose not to provide us with personal data and can ask us not to use your data for marketing.
You have the right to access information we hold about you and will provide you with the requested information within one month of your request, unless doing so would adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other (e.g. another person’s confidentiality or intellectual property rights).
